Montreal Canadiens' Alex Galchenyuk's Girlfriend Chanel Leszczynski Arrested on Domestic Charge

Alex Galchenyuk is a 21-year old American center for the Montreal Canadiens. Galchenyuk’s girlfriend, Chanel Leszczynski, 27, was arrested Sunday morning on a domestic violence charge after an incident at a party. According to 25Stanley, Galchenyuk threw a party at his house and apparently forgot to invite his girlfriend. Leszczynski showed up at some point and then the police came around 8am. Police arrested Leszczynski after speaking with witnesses. (Teammate Devante Smith-Pelly was also present.)

Galchenyuk has chosen not to press charges, but prosecutes will still review the incident.

Galchenyuk is 4th on the Canadiens in points. The team’s next game is Thursday.
