Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard is, fittingly, bringing his patented brand of Hollywood passing to the U.S. with L.A. Galaxy. That inspired this tweet from MLS about Gerrard reuniting with Robbie Keane, who spent a half season with the Reds in 2008.
We’re too old to understand what #Bae means. But, it appears the corporate world is hip to it. Perhaps Rick Neuheisel can weigh in? Captioning the photo “Can you feel it coming in the air tonight?” would have brought the house down in the soccer Twitterverse.
The cross-country rivalry with Frank Lampard will be fun, if Lampard ever makes it to MLS.
