Mike Moustakas and Alex Gordon Nearly Killed Each Other in Foul Territory

Mike Moustakas just returned from the disabled list and now Alex Gordon is day-to-day with a sprained wrist after a collision in foul territory over the weekend. Moustakas and Gordon were both going after Melky Cabrera’s pop-up near the stands down the left-field line when they barely avoided crashing into each other. Instead, they banged knees and Gordon fell awkwardly against the rolled up tarp. Gordon remained motionless for a moment before rolling over. The Royals say he passed a concussion test.
