Mayor of Annapolis Edited Himself into that Annoying Road to the Final Four Commercial

Charles Barkley, Spike Lee and Samuel L. Jackson star in a bunch of confusing commercials to promote the Final Four. One features Charles Barkley driving to Annapolis, Maryland instead of Indianapolis because he thought the Final Four was “in the Annapolis.” The two cities are about 600 miles apart so if you think about what happens in the commercial for more than a second, it makes no sense. That’s not the point.
Mike Pantelides is the 31-year old mayor of Annapolis, Maryland. Pantelides took the opportunity to promote Annapolis tourism, editing himself into the backseat of Charles Barkley’s car. It actually makes for a much better ad than the original. Good on you, kid mayor. Just don’t take all this fresh “In The Annapolis” money and sink it into a winter sports complex.
