Matt Harvey Has Undisclosed Mystery Injury
By Ty Duffy

Mets fans, muster at your respective panic stations. Matt Harvey has been shut down for the rest of Spring Training and is iffy for opening day with a “mystery ailment.” He did not travel with the team, while seeing a “non-orthopedic doctor.”
Matt Harvey will not pitch tomorrow. Opening Day could potentially be in question. Non-disclosed issue right now.

"His arm is fine," Terry Collins stresses of Matt Harvey. But clearly something's up. Collins called Harvey's ailment "a mystery." #Mets

Harvey went 13-8 with a 2.71 ERA in 29 starts for the Mets last season, but he missed all of 2014 recovering from Tommy John surgery. If Collins is correct that the injury is not his arm, that will be cause for partial sighs of relief, until fans remember the Mets’ history of downplaying injuries.
