Matt Barkley was thought to be a first round pick last year if he had entered the draft. Some thought he could be a Top 5 pick before last season. He fell all the way to . . . the Philadelphia Eagles? At the top of the fourth round, Philadelphia traded up to get Barkley, the USC quarterback who faced off against Kelly over the last few years when he was the coach at Oregon. Barkley didn’t fit the perceived mold of a Kelly quarterback, but this is more interesting for what it says about Foles’ future in Philadelphia.
