Manchester United fans looking to get their hands on the club’s new, garish, Chevy-dominated 2014-15 jerseys were in luck early earlier this week. United Direct, the club’s “online megastore” run by Kitbag, temporarily sold the new jerseys at half-price discounts for about $37 USD. According to The Mirror United will honor the discounts.

United recently signed a 10-year deal with Adidas worth $1.3 billion, so yeah, it can probably offset the cost here by the discount snafu.

On the field United continue to chase big-name signings for new manager Louis van Gaal in order to offset last year’s seventh-place finish in the Premier League under David Moyes. Recent reports don’t make it sound likely that the Red Devils will land either Arturo Vidal or Mats Hummels.
