Lance Stephenson Missed Long 3, Doesn't Hustle Back, Commits Dumb Foul, Gets Technical

Lance Stephenson’s season from Hell continued on Wednesday night. Lance scored 11 points against the Kings in Charlotte in a 7-point loss. With his team down 4 early in the 4th quarter, Lance jacked up a long three-point attempt that barely grazed the rim. Then he jogged back on defense in time to commit a stupid foul on his guy (Ben McLemore) from behind as he was dunking. Lance then slapped the basket support in frustration and was given a technical foul. McLemore converted two free throws for the four-point play.

Later in the game, DeMarcus Cousins broke out a “ball don’t lie” after a phantom call. And don’t forget that Lance hit a fan in the face with an errant pass earlier in the game. It was just not the Hornets night.
