La La Anthony Believes NBA Ref Tony Brothers Has Personal Beef With Carmelo

Carmelo picked up a technical for arguing a foul call with Tony Brothers during the second quarter of Friday night’s game against the Celtics. Then he picked up another technical for arguing about the first one. And then he was gone.

One of Carmelo’s wife La La’s followers complained that Brothers always disrespects Carmelo, and she replied:

“I was surprised,” Anthony’s Derrick Rose said, via ESPN’s Ian Begley. “He was still talking quietly. I didn’t get it. They have a history, I guess.”

Those are pretty substantial allegations, and it will be interesting to see if anything more comes of this.
