Kirk Cousins had a very good regular season, leading the league in completion percentage and throwing 29 touchdowns and just 11 interceptions. Washington understandably has Cousins fever and his team is will make its first postseason appearance since 2012 on Sunday. That means it is high season for feature stories. Here’s one about his father’s fight with cancer and the quarterback’s intertwined love of the word “Booyah!” Via Freep:

"“I used to say it at Michigan State all the time,” Cousins, now starting quarterback for the Washington Redskins, said in a phone interview Thursday. “And I say it here, too, whenever we hit a big pass. Just kind of a habit.”"

Booyah. You like that? Who knows what Cousins will say if Washington somehow goes on a deep playoff run.
