TMZ recently spoke with UFC women’s bantamweight contender Julianna Peña. Peña is currently trying to talk her way into a title fight with champion Amanda Nunes. This means touting her credentials and denigrating Ronda Rousey. First the credentials.

"“They can delay me but they can’t deny me. I’ve had my hand raised in the UFC octagon more than any other female out there. No one deserves this title shot more than I do. That’s how I feel about that. She knows that and all these girls know that they need to fight me. I want my belt and I’m not going to stop until I get it.”"

Peña has won four fights in the UFC which means she’s had her hand raised four times. Rousey has had her hand raised 6 times. And Miesha Tate has won five. And Nunes has won six. Now, about Rousey…

"“She’s like the emperor and no clothes. She’s broken a little bit. I just think no one really cares about Ronda Rousey and her fat arms anymore. But I guess some people do.”"

I’m trying to think of another case in sports where someone said a competitor had fat arms. Peña can probably calm down. No amount of trash talk or fat shaming will get her ahead of Rousey in the line for anything. If Rousey comes back, she gets the fight. If she doesn’t, Peña will.
