Jozy Altidore Red Carded For Swearing at Referee

Jozy Altidore was sent off for the above incident, during the second half of the USMNT friendly against Switzerland. It appears to have been a straight red for dissent, as he clearly directed some inappropriate language at the referee. Not clear if the challenge also played a role in the decision. Lip read if you wish.
Generally, you allow players a bit of leeway on dissent in the heat of the moment. Though, this was blatant and dumb.
