Matt Harvey started his 17th game of the season on Monday. Harvey went 3.2 innings (for the second straight game), giving up 5 earned runs and 11 hits. The Mets rallied back to win the game 8-6 and are now 5-12 this season in games started by the former ace. While Harvey continues his fall from grace, Mets fans were treated to the return of hero Jose Reyes on Tuesday. Reyes got a overwhelmingly positive ovation before going 0-4 in the Mets loss to the Marlins.

Reyes started on Tuesday after serving a 52-game suspension from Major League Baseball for a domestic incident that took place in Hawaii last fall. Charges were dropped after Reyes’ wife refused to cooperate with prosecutors.
