Jordan Spieth is dialed in with his wedges. After a rain delay at the John Deere Classic on Saturday, Spieth smoked the flag stick on the eighth hole from 144-yards out. Unfortunately the ball didn’t drop into the cup, and instead left him with a 20-foot putt for birdie, which he made.

Because Spieth’s ball left a crater that extended to the inside of the cup, a rules official was called to repair it.

He also came within a few feet of the pin on the par-5 second hole after a 260-yard second shot and finished it with an eagle.

Spieth is currently tied with five others at 12-under.
