Johnny Cueto Kind of Kneed Kevin Pillar at Home During Game 3 of the ALCS

Johnny Cueto was shelled in the Blue Jays 11-8 win over the Royals in Game 3 on Monday. The Kansas City pitcher gave up eight runs on six hits and exited the game after facing five batters in the third without recording an out.

If Cueto was frustrated, no one would be surprised. As Kevin Pillar slid through home, he came into contact with Cueto. The Jays’ pitcher kind of lifted his knee in Pillar’s general direction. Intentional? Awkward movement? Nothing at all?
