John Daly is Almost 50 Years Old, Will Play First Champions Tour Event in May

John Daly is about to make his debut on the Senior PGA Tour, aka the Champions Tour. Daly will be eligible for his first start on April 28th when he turns 50. That first start will be at the Insperity Invitational, May 6th – 8th at The Woodlands Golf Club in Texas.

But if you’re thinking, “Man, John Daly is freaking old if he’s playing in Champions Tour events,” you’d be, well, technically you’d be right. He is old, but because Daly is going to be playing with the older guys doesn’t mean he can’t still smash a golf ball.
