Dunking after a touchdown is against the rules of the NFL because the act of dunking generally takes place near a basketball hoop which is usually attached to a stanchion. After the Paul George thing last night all professional sports owners have decided that anything that resembles that should be avoided at all costs. Jimmy Graham “dunked” a football after scoring a touchdown at Saints training camp and the referees threw a flag. Those are the rules of this new world folks.
