Jim Furyk and Ryuji Imada made some impressive shots from the cliffs at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. Both players were in very precarious positions while swinging and had they slipped who knows what would have happened.

On Friday, Imada pulled off this up-and-down on the par-3 7th after chipping to the front of the green and then chipping in for par. (Take notes Tiger.)

Furyk, and his unattractive swing, followed in Imada’s footsteps and chipped from the cliff on the par-5 6th. While his shot may not seem quite as impressive as Imada’s because he didn’t hole out the following shot, it saved him a stroke and gave him his shot at par.

Furyk’s 3rd round was pretty damn good and included 6 birdies on the back nine that vaulted him into the lead, but he couldn’t hold on and lost to Brandt Snedeker who finished at -22.

If I’m in either situation, that ball is as good as gone. No way am I going down there to hit those, give me the stroke. Granted, I don’t get paid to play golf either.
