Jerry Reinsdorf, owner of the Chicago White Sox, just released a statement on the Adam LaRoche matter (via Ken Rosenthal):

Reinsdorf has complete faith in the skills and abilities of the leadership group. He also attributes it to miscommunication, rather than deception. Most importantly, he said that no one would be discussing this matter publicly.

This comes in the aftermath of Chris Sale leading a vocal criticism of GM Ken Williams. As suspected, though, there were unnamed members of the White Sox who privately complained about LaRoche’s son being present constantly in the clubhouse. Now, we see if it really does go quiet or if those rifts still emerge, after Sale’s impassioned defense that doesn’t seem to reflect the entire group.
