Now you’ve gotta wonder – will Joeckel slide as far as 4th to Philadelphia? The Jaguars and new GM Dave Caldwell have been the team attempting the most misdirection for weeks now, from the Geno Smith junk to the using words like “safe pick,” which of course leads everyone to believe offensive lineman. But Jacksonville had the fewest sacks in the NFL, and could still choose from “upside” guys like Jordan, Ansah or Mingo. The Raiders? With Al Davis gone, and GM Reggie McKenzie free to do his thing, who knows what direction they’ll head. Ditto for former Oregon coach Chip Kelly and the Eagles at 4. One could argue the new GM-coach combo in Cleveland could surprise everyone, too.
