Jake Arrieta Met the Kid Who Had the Cubs Ace Shaved into His Head

Earlier this week, social media was abuzz with the Illinois kid who got Jake Arrieta’s likeness shaved into his head. Word emerged yesterday that the 9-year-old has been charging $2-3 per photo op, and has grossed about $90. In any event, the Cubs ace took note of the kid, and presumably arranged a meet-up after Tuesday’s NLDS clincher over the Cardinals. Suffice to say that this kid is probably having trouble concentrating on his schoolwork this week.
