Jahlil Okafor Isn't Actually Upset About Anything and He Doesn't Trust Your Sources
Jahlil Okafor was involved in trade rumors leading up to the NBA Draft and there have been rumors that he didn’t want to be in Philadelphia going all the way back to the 2015 NBA Draft. He even contributed an image of himself dismissively dropping a 76ers jersey as he and his fellow rookies were introduced to the Philly media after the draft.
Okafor then spent his first season in the NBA dealing with various off-court incidents with police and getting into street fights with opposing fans. There’s good reason to assume a change of scenery would be in his and the team’s best interest. Still, Okafor says he wants to be in Philadelphia. He’s not upset about anything. Not about being a 76ers. Not about being in trade rumors.

If anything should get Okafor excited about Philadelphia, it should be Ben Simmons.
