First off, I’m surprised Freeman didn’t get drafted. The number of foreign players taken late in the 2nd round was surprising – especially considering the fact that US college players taken in the 2nd round have a better track record of actually playing in the NBA than their foreign counterparts. You mean to tell me nobody has room on an NBA roster for a 6-foot-3 shooting guard who shot 44 percent from three as a junior when the Hoyas actually had a post-player with skills (Greg Monroe)?
