Irish Soccer Player Headbutts Opponent During Australian League Match

Central Coast and Wellington met in an A-League match in Australia today. The match featured this headbutt by Roy O’Donovan on Manny Muscat. Muscat hit the 30-year old Irishman in the eye with sort of a backhand punch and then went back to have words with his opponent. That’s when O’Donovan nonchalantly headbutted him and kept walking. Muscat went down. O’Donovan and his bloody eye took a yellow. Happy New Year.
