The Iowa Hawkeyes are 10-0 and a national championship contender. Not everyone in Iowa City is happy about the renewed enthusiasm surrounding the program.

One cranky resident living in close proximity to Kinnick Stadium called the police during Saturday night’s win over Minnesota to complain about the amount of noise coming from the crowd.

The call came around 9 p.m. local time during the third quarter. Authorities opted not to shut down the battle for Floyd of Rosedale despite the caller’s very reasonable plea.

If this particular resident is looking for peace and quiet on fall Saturdays, there are many places ready to fill that need.

(No offense to any team represented here. They surely have rich and engaged fan bases willing to show up and these photos are nothing more than an aberration).

Iowa hosts Purdue this Saturday at 11 a.m. so things should wrap up before even the earliest of bedtimes.
