This fall, Adult Swim will bring us Mike Tyson Mysteries, an animated series starring the former boxing great as the leader of a ragtag group of detectives who solve mysterious.

Now, you’re probably wondering why it took so long for such a show to come into existence. Honestly, your guess is as good as mine.

Highlighting the cast is Jim Rash (Community) and Norm Macdonald, who plays an alcoholic pigeon.

Oh yeah. This can’t miss.

Tyson discussed the show in a panel yesterday at Comic-Con, and provided some wonderfully bizarre moments.

"Ramras voices the character of Tyson’s adopted Korean daughter. When this was brought up on the panel, Tyson interrupted, saying he thought until that moment that she was Chinese. He then commented that he “never adopted a Chinese girl in real life.” When Rash was answering a question about doing voice work, Tyson interrupted to point out an audience member who resembled Jerry Garcia. “And that’s the end of my answer,” Rash said with a laugh. Tyson then went on a tangent about a Garcia documentary he watched."

He was also asked if he could see himself getting involved in the show’s writing process.

“That’d be beautiful,” he said, “but you’d have to spell.”

There’s a man who knows his limits.
