TMZ obtained video of LSU running back Leonard Fournette and offensive guard Garrett Brumfield involved in what appears to be a fight outside of the LSU indoor practice facility.

Of course, many things TMZ and media-related can be greatly exaggerated and this appears to be one of those times. According to LSU Associate AD Michael Bonnette, the two were “slap boxing.”

"“A game where they basically have to touch the other person twice.”"

The two also apparently hugged immediately afterwards, but of course the video didn’t catch that portion or was edited not to include it to sensationalize the sitation.

"“What you don’t see is when the video cuts off, they hug it out. They’re not mad at each other. No one was injured.”"

Take it for what it’s worth, but Fournette’s right cross was so far over Brumfield’s head and the two appear to be pulling back on their punches and not following through that I can’t imagine this is an actual fist fight. Not to mention, at some point this would likely have gone to the ground had it been an actual fight.

Slap boxing it is.

UPDATE: Even though Fournette says he was joking around with teammate Garrett Brumfield while playing a game of “slap boxing,” he still issued an apology.
