Arsenal have not won the league title since 2004. But, fans still celebrate “St. Totteringham’s Day,” the day it becomes official Arsenal will finish ahead of Tottenham.

It looked nervy for a while, but Arsenal fans will have their consolation prize once again. The Gunners beat Aston Villa 4-0 at home. Newcastle beat Tottenham 5-1. Arsenal moved up to 71 points to claim second place. Tottenham has not finished above Arsenal since 1995, before Arsene Wenger took charge.

Manchester City drew Swansea 1-1. That all but secures them the fourth Champions League place. Manchester United vs. Bournemouth was postponed after the stadium was evacuated after a suspicious package was reported. United can still finish level on points, but would need to win by a 19-goal margin to overturn their goal margin disadvantage. The Red Devils are averaging 1.24 goals per match this on the season.

West Ham, finishing 7th, can still qualify for the Europa League if Manchester United wins the FA Cup. Liverpool, in 8th, could qualify for the Champions League if they beat Sevilla in the Europa League final.
