Guy Standing Outside Gillette Stadium Begging Bill Belichick for a Tryout is Going to Be Waiting A While

Abiola Aborishade, a wide receiver from Division III school UMASS-Dartmouth, has been standing outside of Gillette Stadium part of every day for over a month, holding a sign asking for a tryout. He works out a Enterprise Rent-A-Car just seven miles from the stadium, but he doesn’t want to be one of the NCAA athletes who goes pro in something other than sports. He has been spending time both before and after his shift at Enterprise standing outside and memorizing the vehicles and behaviors of key Patriots employees.

"“I honestly was thinking three things could happen from this. The first thing is that they see me so often that they get sick and tired of me,” Aborishade says. “So they almost give up, give into it, because I’m not giving in. So they give in and they say, ‘OK, let’s see what this kid can do.’ The second thing is the people who drive around here, who work around here see me so often that they almost say, ‘hey, we want to see what he can do.'” “And the third thing is they just leave me out here,” he says, laughing."

Given that he has now appeared in a news post about his attempts, and will be featured on social media, the guess here is that Bill Belichick will not be a fan of his drawing attention to himself. Enjoy standing outside for awhile.
