Greg Hardy was in court this morning, following his arrest for domestic assault early Tuesday morning. The arrest warrant accuses Hardy of throwing his girlfriend, Nicole Holder, into the floor and the bathtub, into a futon, and strangling her. In her complaint, she accuses Hardy of throwing her on a couch covered “in assault weapons and/or shotguns” and threatening to shoot her.

Hardy was a pro bowler last year and finished with 15 sacks, as part of the Panthers young and emerging defense. This news will obviously lead to concern and a possible suspension or other disciplinary action, in addition to the serious criminal charges Hardy faces.

His attorney denies the allegations and claims the events described in the warrant did not happen, and that it was Hardy who called 911 when Holder would not leave his apartment. Holder was reportedly outside the courtroom, wearing large sunglasses and with her arm in a sling.
