Mario Goetze has an attractive girlfriend. He was also responsible for Germany’s first goal of the 2014 World Cup. Portugal’s Joao Pereira hauled him down in the box, giving Germany a penalty kick. He was fortunate to receive only a yellow.
Ever-reliable Thomas Muller converted to give Germany a 1-0 lead. The Germans have looked a bit nervy at the back, but Portugal have not capitalized.
