FYI: This Dustin Brown Goal Counted Last Night, Despite CBC's Play-By-Play Call
I watched this live and wasn’t sure. Los Angeles celebrated like they had just taken a 1-0 lead. The Canucks and referees looked confused and the announcer was calling it a great defensive play. CBC’s feed cut away from the replay before the angle that would have shown the puck definitively go into the net. CBC’s play-by-play crew were still talking about what a great defensive play it was as the teams faced off at center ice and went into the locker rooms with a 1-0 score. Other than that, great job.
