Manchester United should have won the title by then, which is perhaps the least relevant race. You’ll potentially have Arsenal, Tottenham, Chelsea and Newcastle still battling for two Champions League places (a $60 million bonus) and Aston Villa, Wigan, QPR, Bolton and Blackburn still battling to avoid relegation (a $40 million loss).
That would make 8/10 matches still relevant. If Manchester City is still within range of Man U for the title, that would make it nine. The most intriguing could be Chelsea and Blackburn both needing a win. No matter what happens, the result of Liverpool vs. Swansea City will be absolutely meaningless.
