Eric Weddle and Dean Spanos aren’t exactly seeing eye-to-eye these days, and now we can see what a fight between the two would look like thanks to the magic of YouTube and WWE 2K16.

The five-time All-Pro safety and the San Diego Chargers’ owner have been at odds since the summer, when the team announced it wouldn’t be re-signing Weddle after the 2015 season. If that wasn’t enough, Weddle was fined for watching his daughter perform at halftime of the team’s Dec. 20 matchup with the Miami Dolphins, then was placed on injured reserve – against his will – for the team’s final game this Sunday.

Weddle has been the heart and soul of San Diego’s defense since the team drafted him in 2007 and has always been a fan favorite. It’s no surprise that the public has overwhelmingly taken his side in a feud with the franchise’s reviled owner. The fact that watching his daughter perform at halftime (instead of staying in the locker room) was considered “conduct detrimental to the team” is laughable at best and infuriating at worst.

The WWE 2K16 fight between the two is brilliant, featuring Weddle running to the ring in full uniform as the Ultimate Warrior, while Spanos saunters down the ramp to Adam Rose’s music. Weddle then proceeds to lay a cathartic whipping on Spanos that most native San Diegans would love to see replicated in real life.
