Even Miles Teller Made an LOL Jets Joke About the Geno Smith Injury

Last week actor Miles Teller was subject of a lengthy profile by Esquire, which he didn’t seem to be a fan of after its publication. A couple days later the latest Fantastic Four movie came out, starring Teller as Reed Richards. The super hero flick was panned by critics — sitting at nine percent fresh on Rotten Tomatoes — and it tanked at the box office, pulling in only $26 million domestically over its first weekend.

Perspective is everything and — big picture — it’s probably still not that bad to be Miles Teller. That said, the crummy week allowed him to take a shot at the New York Jets on Twitter following the locker room fight that left Geno Smith sidelined with a broken jaw.

Making a joke about the Jets on social media isn’t hard — in fact it might be in Twitter’s ToS agreement. Even so, we’ll applaud Teller’s effort.

A quick Google search reveals that Teller is an Eagles fan.
