Ernie Els missed a short putt during the first round of the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship at Carnoustie. Els, a four-time major champion, has missed putts like this before.
It goes to show that even the pros miss what local muni warriors would call a “gimme.” So, putt everything out unless you’re playing partner gives it to you.
