Dwight Howard Forcefully Rejected Andrew Wiggins, Who'd Blocked James Harden Earlier

Ryan Glasspiegel

Andrew Wiggins slid by James Harden on the way to the bucket, only to find Dwight Howard standing there. Not in the mood to cede two points, Howard sent the ball packing. Perhaps the emphasis on the swat was in part borne out of revenge for this play at the beginning of the game:

There should be a special league pass package where you get to hear all of the shit talked on the court. That would be valuable. Also, it will never make sense to me why players go out of their way to block the ball out of bounds as hard as they can instead of making a concerted effort to keep it in play so their team has a chance to get the ball.
