Dustin Johnson had yet another shot at a winning his first major tournament last weekend at the Masters. After Jordan Spieth’s epic meltdown, Johnson was well-placed to chase down the new leader Danny Willett. Johnson hit some spectacular iron shots, the one of the 15th hole comes to mind immediately, but his putting was yet again a huge problem. Johnson had eight putts inside of 20 feet for either birdie or eagle, and six of those were inside of 13 feet. Of course, this is not new information to those who remember Johnson’s three-putt at Chambers Bay on the 18th hole at the 2015 U.S. Open, but if he could ever get his putter going in a major tournament, he’ll likely win.

Instead, Johnson finished in a respectable tie for fourth that earned him $413,333.00 and he celebrated that by dancing with a dog.

Johnson has been so close so many times.
