Donald Trump is under fire for a video depicting his “locker room talk” about sexually assaulting women. He began his rally in Pennsylvania, with a shout out to his golfing buddy, Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.
Roethlisberger had his own notable controversies with women. A district attorney declined to file charges in Georgia, after Roethlisberger was accused of sexual assault in 2010. Roethlisberger settled a civil lawsuit in 2012 relating to a different alleged sexual assault in Nevada in 2008.
It’s safe to say that may not be the right approach for appealing to female voters.
