Dodgers Will Reportedly Acquire Aroldis Chapman from Reds

The Los Angeles Dodgers will add another high-profile, handsomely compensated player to their stable of stars by trading for Aroldis Chapman, according to a report from Ken Rosenthal. The Cincinnati Reds will receive two unnamed prospects in return. Rosenthal also reports the Dodgers plan to retain Kenley Jansen to create one of the strongest bullpen duos in the game.
The Dodgers, already expected to pay a hefty luxury tax this year, will be adding a premier pitcher to replace the departed Zack Grienke if the deal goes through.
