Dennis Green Dies at 67

Dennis Green, the former head coach of the Cardinals and Vikings, has died at age 67, according to multiple accounts.

In 13 years as an NFL head coach, Green’s teams went 113-94 in the regular season, and 4-8 in the playoffs. His most memorable team was the 1998 Vikings, which went 15-1 as Randall Cunningham, Robert Smith, Randy Moss, and Cris Carter tore up the league (before the worst timing ever for Gary Anderson’s only missed field goal of the season).

This is a sad loss for the football community, as Green had a very magnetic personality and always wore it on his sleeve.
