Dear Dads, Stop Going After Baseballs While You're Holding Children

Dear Baseball Fan Fathers of America,

Please stop going after foul balls while you’re holding your child. Sure, if you pull it off, like the guy at the minor league game in the video below, you look pretty cool. But looking cool is not your job. You’re a grown man who should be doing everything in his power to protect his child. Sometimes, going for a foul ball will end poorly. Like the guy above who crushed his daughter on the railing and nearly dropped her on her head while simultaneously falling on her. Eventually, somebody is going to drop a kid on national television. That person is not going to have a happy wife and will probably get in some real trouble. Don’t let that be you. Protect your child. Let someone else have a souvenir.
