David Ortiz Got Ejected, Paused Mid-Rage To Shake Hands With Some Cops
By Tully Corcoran

David Ortiz got ejected Friday night for arguing balls and strikes. The game was against the Yankees, it was the bottom of the ninth, the bases were loaded, Ortiz went down looking and the Red Sox lost 3-2.
Ortiz and manager John Farrell both got ejected over it.
This is all pretty standard baseball-ejection stuff, and the good part comes when Ortiz was leaving the field. In the middle of his rage, he passed some members of the NYPD.
Ortiz was fuming. Then he walked outside the clubhouse and two NYC cops were there. Stopped, smiled, shook both their hands.

Then, presumably, he continued raging.
