Sunday night’s Yankees – Red Sox game was interesting in the way that only New York – Boston games are interesting when one team is six games out of the Wild Card hunt in mid-August. Alex Rodriguez got plugged and Joe Girardi got thrown out of the game while the Ryan Dempster (who intentionally hit A-Rod) remained in the game. Later, A-Rod homered off Dempster and the Yankees won. In the 7th inning with the Red Sox trailing, David Ortiz fouled off a pitch that he thought he should have hit better and yelled the F-word. It’s funny because you’re not supposed to say that on television.
