Mike Fiers tossed the 11th no-hitter in Houston Astros history last night. As with Hisashi Iwakuma nine days ago, it was the first complete game of his Major League career. The unlikely brilliance touched off a hearty celebration at the middle of the diamond. Fiers’ teammates were very excited for him. Especially fellow hurler Dallas Keuchel, who shared some compelling thoughts on a postgame activity.
Say what you will about Keuchel’s word choice but he’s nothing if not supportive.
