Cristiano Ronaldo Caps Hat Trick vs. Galatasaray with Brilliant Stepover Display

By Mike Cardillo

Something tells me the presence of new best bud Gareth Bale will bring out the best in Cristiano Ronaldo this season. Yeah, getting out from under the yoke of Jose Mourinho might help, too.

The Portuguese superstar tallied a hat-trick in Real Madrid’s 6-1 thrashing of Galatasaray this afternoon in the Champions League. He capped that feat with this downright filthy array of stepovers through the Turks’ defense. As if Ronaldo needed extra motivation, no longer wearing the mantle of “world’s most expensive player” seems to have given him it.

Ronaldo now has 207 goals in 204 games for Real Madrid, including 21 hat-tricks.

He remains very good at soccer.
