The ginormous scoreboard at Cowboys Stadium, err, AT&T Stadium struck again during Saturday night’s preseason game between the Cowboys and the Bengals. Dallas punter Chris Jones booted his kick high into the stratosphere and it hit the scoreboard, which results in a dead-ball and re-kick.

Naturally on the re-kick Brandon Tate fielded it cleanly and returned it 75 yards for a touchdown. If only this happened with the Jets, we’d have to shut down the Internet.

It is funny that in the NFL — the league that micro-manages everything — has to result to the backyard “do-over” logic in this instance.

It’s happened before in a Titans/Cowboys game from 2009. Here’s the video proof.
