We’ve got a series in Pennsylvania. The Flyers took the early lead last night as Matt Carle scored first. The first period featured 5 penalties and 3 power play goals and it looked like we might be heading for another high-scoring affair. It was not to be as the goals were kept partially closed for the first time in the series and the Penguins got back into the series.

Steve Sullivan tied the game minutes later.

Scott Hartnell’s first goal of the series gave Philly the lead heading into the first intermission.

Jordan Staal again ripped one past Ilya Bryzgalov. Staal now has 6 goals a 3 assists in the series.

The game-winner came mid-way through the second period. Tyler Kennedy put the Penguins up 3-2 and that was all for the scoring.
