Chris Paul Leaves Game With Broken Hand, Looked Devastated

Chris Paul reached in on Gerald Henderson for a steal, and suffered an apparent right wrist hand injury in the third quarter of tonight’s game versus Portland. Paul’s facial expression as he headed into the locker room conveyed a sense that this was not nothing, and this was quickly confirmed:
Chris Paul has a third metacarpal fracture on his right hand and will not return

Jamie Maggio said on TNT’s broadcast that this essentially means Paul has a broken hand, and that he will be reevaluated when the team returns to Los Angeles. It goes without saying that any absence of their point guard is a crushing blow to the Clippers.
