Johnny Manziel’s troublesome Friday included getting dumped by his agent and his father publicly stating Manziel wouldn’t live to see a 24th birthday. The downward spiral appeared to speed up and the situation grew more dire.
The Cleveland Browns were already planning to release Manziel before the latest developments. The Dallas police department is relaunching an investigation into his latest incident with girlfriend Colleen Crowley.
Manziel has myriad personal and professional obstacles to overcome. It’s a bit reminiscent of the battled faced by Charlie Sheen a few years ago. Sheen, an avid sports fan, offered some unsolicited advice to Manziel via Twitter.
